Puppies
Our early training program ensures your poodle is happy, healthy, and well-socialized.

Puppy Socialization
Puppies learning how to interact appropriately in social situations with people, dogs, and their environment. Why is it important? The goal is to condition your dog to accept the activities of everyday life beyond the security of your home. This learning will make your dog more self-confident, secure, and predictable. Since behavioral problems are the biggest reason for owner relinquishment of dogs, early socialization and training are essential and can help save the lives of many dogs. Also, properly socializing your pet can improve your bond with them. It is a fun, active process for both of you.
Weekly Communication
After receiving your deposit, we will communicate with you on at least a weekly basis based on the age of the puppies. You have the opportunity to meet the entire litter of puppies virtually and in-person prior to your selection. Here's an overview of the weeks leading up to your puppy coming home:
Week 1: we're traditionally pretty quiet in these early days as we focus on the health of the mom and puppies. The litter visits our veterinary team for dewclaw removal and tail docking. We will post photos 2-3 times this week.
Week 2: the puppies are starting to explore their small world but eyes and ears are not open. ENS and ESI begins. We will post photos 2-3 times this week.
Week 3: Eyes and ears are open and we offer your first virtual visit with the puppies!
Week 4: First official grooming session before individual photos are taken and you can attend your second virtual visit with the puppies. In-person visits are scheduled.
Week 5: We start to see temperaments emerge and we prioritize individual work with the puppies. Selections can begin during this week!
Week 6: Socialization ramps up and the photos get cuter and cuter!
Week 7: The litter receives their first vaccinations from our veterinary team.
Week 8: Puppies can leave our home beginning at 8 weeks of age. If you need to fly with your puppy, this is the ideal time to do it!
Week 9: Training and socialization continue as puppies leave with their families.
Early Neurological Stimulation and Scent Introduction
ENS is a technique that involves providing gentle, repetitive stimulation to puppies during their critical developmental period (days 3-16 of age). The goal of ENS is to enhance the puppies' neurological, physical, and behavioral development.
Improved cognitive abilities and problem-solving skills
Enhanced stress tolerance and resilience
Increased confidence and social adaptability
Stronger immune system and improved health
Reduced risk of developing behavioral issues later in life
